Last night at the NCT meeting there was a question about the Hershey car show:
Hersey car show is the biggest such show in the world. They will get easily
100,000 in attendance. It is located on the fields surrounding the Hershey
chocolate factory in Hersey, Pa.

Dates are October 7-10, 2015.
Set up day is October 6. Load in is all day starting around 9 am. I get there
about 10, park and setup my tent and booth. I sleep in my van Tuesday –
Friday. My Booth is OBF 58.
The car parts and stuff flea market runs Tuesday thru Saturday. Car parts,
trains, glassware, everything in the world is displayed on the asphalted Hershey
parking lots. The old and new(Giant) centers are surrounded by flea market
booths. I sell trains and car parts and offer free psycho advice. Mostly pre
and post war trains. There are lots of trans for sale. These are crazy days. I
crawl outa my van about 7 am and the crowds are pouring in. Open the booth and
market all day until around 5pm. NO lies are tole all day long. We close the
booth around 6 and go off campus for diner with our group of eV-8 Club members.
Back on the field about 8 and crawl back in the van for the night. Some booths
stay open until night fall. This goes on Tuesday until Saturday.
Saturday the flea markets are still open.
Saturday is the big car show day. 1500 pristine cars show on the old Hershey
golf course. These are some of the finest cars in the world sorted by classes.
It is a true thrill to walk around and enjoy these fine autos. AACA judging
occurs. I personally don’t show a car and come home Friday afternoon to get
ready for York, a week later.
Thursday the car corral of a thousand or so antique cars encircle the Chocolate,
Green and Orange fields and are for sale. What ever you want is available. They
stay there thru Saturday. Bring LOTS of $$
Best days for a newbie to attend: If you are a shopper, Wednesday –Friday. If
you are there for the car show portion, Saturday is your day. Parking is $20 and
attendance at the show is free. Expect to walk several miles in huge crowds.
Rain days are no fun.
Bring all the cash you can find+ more. Fleas are cash deals.
