Trains & More Trains
Kids love trains… and so do all of us at Fall for Fairfax KidsFest. That’s why there’s THREE fantastic “train” places at Fall for Fairfax!
First, enjoy the amazing sights and sounds of the National Capital Trackers truly impressive model train exhibit. Long a favorite at Celebrate Fairfax! Festival and Fall for Fairfax KidsFest, our young guests may enjoy the model train display from floor level or from above in the Forum of the Government Center.
Also located inside the Government Center, our young guests can visit Thomas the Tank Engine and all of his friends at our super-sized train tables, featuring more than 60 different character trains from the much-loved children’s series.
Lastly, guests of all ages will enjoy our Trackless Train Ride, with a round-trip ticket allowing riders a journey through the center of Fall for Fairfax KidsFest.
The National Capital Trackers and Thomas the Tank Engine Train Tables are FREE; Trackless Train Rides are $2 per guest, or are FREE with a SuperPass (also allowing unlimited all-day-play in the KidWay MidWay).
